What happens if the event is canceled?2021-01-20T10:43:16-06:00

If our event is canceled for any reason, including COVID-19, you will receive a full refund for your tickets.

What type of ticket should I purchase?2022-04-26T15:06:32-06:00

If you plan on staying at the venue overnight, you will need a Camping Pass, Exhibition Pass, or an Exhibition Vendor Pass. The Camping Pass gets you a spot in a well-kept grass field in the southern part of the venue. This is perfect for those who would rather not have large crowds near their vehicle, as well as for those who don’t have a van but would like a spot to camp. If you’d prefer to show off your van, look no further than the Exhibition Pass. This will get you a spot near the action in a paved lot with a lot of foot traffic. If you intend on selling goods/services out of your van, you will need to purchase an Exhibition Vendor Pass. You will get a premium spot in the exhibition lot and be allowed to sell your wares. To sell from a tent instead of from your van, sign up as a vendor and get a 10×10 vendor space right in the center of the action.

Here are the various participation options for our event:

 

1) General Attendee & Overnight Camper

COST: GA TICKET FEES + CAMPING FEES

–This is for individuals who would like to attend the event and camp overnight at the event. Your only participation with our event would be on a general attendee level (viewing van builds, meeting people, attending the concert, etc.)

 

2) Professional Van Builder/Vendor

COST: $500

–This option is for smaller professional Van Builders who own companies that convert vans/skoolies. With this option, you’d be able to bring up to two of the rigs that you’ve built and showcase them to attendees inside of our event venue. You’d also be able to gather potential leads for future business as well as set up a booth/tent for your company. You’ll also receive free admission to the event for your company (up to 4 people.)

 

3) Sponsor

COST: VARIES UPON SPONSORSHIP TIER (Platinum $8,500, Gold $4,500, Silver $1,500, $500 Bronze)

–This option is for companies who would like to formally sponsor the event. You can view what each tier includes here: https://vanfestusa.com/sponsor-van-fest/

–This option includes pre-event and post-event marketing

–This also includes free access to the event for your company (up to 4 people, with camping included)

–The cut-off date for accepting sponsorships is April 4th, 2021

 

4) Private Exhibitor

COST: FREE (MUST EXHIBIT VEHICLE)

–This option is for individual people, not companies, to exhibit their van/skoolie build. It will include free tickets for your party (everyone arriving with your van, up to 4 people.) Exhibitors will be responsible for showcasing their vehicles and must attend to them throughout the event. Private exhibitors will NOT be allowed to solicit any van build related services. 

Do I have to camp at the event?2021-01-20T10:45:29-06:00

No. Camping is optional and is a fun way to participate in the event but it is not a requirement. If you’d like to camp please purchase a separate ticket (vehicle site or tent site) to reserve your camping spot.

Do I have to showcase my rig?2021-01-20T10:45:53-06:00

No. Showcasing your rig and being an exhibitor at our event is completely optional. If you have a cool van/bus build and you’d like to get into our event for free, becoming an exhibitor is a great option.

If I’m an exhibitor can I solicit my services?2021-01-20T10:46:21-06:00

If you are signed up as an “exhibitor” you may only solicit services that you have previously mentioned on our application. NO van/skoolie building services or vehicle dealership services may be solicited by exhibitors. Products/services that fall into the following categories are allowed: art, general merchandise, clothing, and music services may be solicited by exhibitors. Any exhibitors who are representing professional van/skoolie building companies will be asked to not solicit their services.

Yes. There will be bathrooms on-site at the venue as well as porta-potties.

No. However, there will be cell-phone service.

Children under the age of 8 are not required to have tickets but are required to be with a parent/legal guardian who does. Exhibitors, sponsors, and vendors are not required to have General Admission tickets, your access will have been previously negotiated.

Yes! VanFest is suitable for people of all ages, and we have a playground, bounce house, and other activities for young children available.

Converted sprinter/camper vans, skoolies, and other custom nomadic vehicles and tiny homes will be allowed to showcase at the event.

Yes! If you’d like to sign up as a volunteer for our event simply go to Volunteer and sign up by filling out the form.

I am a professional builder and want to showcase my builds, how do I do that?2021-01-20T10:55:09-06:00

All individuals/companies/dealerships who would like to solicit their vehicle building services must register as a professional builder/dealership. The cost is $500 and they must submit an official application to our team. Please email [email protected] or fill out the become a vendor section on our website. Professional builders/dealerships who sign up in this manner will be allowed to bring up to two vehicles for showcasing and will be allowed to solicit their building services. They will receive no prior or post-event marketing on social media, website, or any other form of marketing.

The event is an entire full-day event from 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM. View the schedule of events here. You may attend as much or as little of the event as you wish.

Yes! Bring your furry friends but you must have them on a leash. We ask that you please clean up after your pets and properly dispose of their doo-doo in the trash cans on site.

No! This event is for those who are wanting to “tour” some of the best van/skoolie builds out there. Please come and learn all about the #VanLife with us.

Can I leave the venue and come back?2021-01-20T10:56:43-06:00

Yes. You can leave the venue and return but you must show your tickets again at the entrance.

Will there be RV hookups/power at the event?2021-01-20T10:57:09-06:00

No. Prepare to be “off-grid” for your duration of camping at the event.

No. You may attend as much or as little of the event as you wish.

Please view our COVID-19 policies HERE. Our event is committed to the health and safety of all of our attendees and we will act under all local/state laws regarding the virus.

If you are attending the event as an exhibitor/sponsor/builder or as a camper you may bring your own food. Alcohol of any kind will not be allowed on event property.

Bring your notebook to write down all of your ideas for your future van! Also, please bring your favorite (small) camp chair if you wish to have it at our event.

Yes. In the unlikely event that Van Fest is canceled, you will receive a full refund.

Yes. If you sign up to become a general vendor at the event, or purchase a van vendor pass, you can sell your products or services at the event.

Deseret Peak is located a short 30 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City, and 20 minutes from miles of hiking trails on two different mountains. If you’re up for a bit of a drive, the world-renowned Utah salt flats are only an hour away!

Do I have to let people in my rig if I’m an exhibitor?2021-01-20T11:02:52-06:00

We leave that up to our individual exhibitors. If you feel comfortable letting people inside of your home, please do so. If you’re uncomfortable or have reservations about that please let us know and we’d be happy to accommodate you.
